Marie-Claire de Selliers

Marie-Claire de Selliers, Parelli *** instructor, and her husband Piet Vercruysse are the founders of the Haras Naturel du Plessis. She shares Pat and Linda Parelli’s commitment to improving the relationship between humans and horses, thus contributing to make the world a better place for all. She spends most of her time teaching humans to become good leaders for their equine partners. Marie-Claire is also interested by broader subjects dealing with the respect of nature and the spiritual dimension of our existence.

 

 

 

Gabi Neurohr

Gabi Neurohr is our Horse Development Specialist, Bare Hoof Practitioner and Horse Nutritionist. She is responsible for all questions about horse training and she also will help you to solve issues regarding horse-biomechanics, hoof care, saddle fit and equine Nutrition. Gabi speaks German, English and French.

King of the Plessis 1991-2015

Origan was Marie-Claire's Levels horse, they went together through the Parelli Natural Horsemanship jouney all the way up to Licenced Parelli Professional. His last big show was in 2007 in Birmingham at the Parelli Celebration. Since the 15th of August 2015, his spirit is kindly supporting us.

Personal Assistant of Marie-Claire

Quivala is a Barb-Arabian mare, bred at Haras Naturel du Plessis, born in 2004. She is Marie-Claire's personal assistant during lessons and helps her to demonstrate exercises for better understanding. She has excellent patience while Marie-Claire is busy teaching but always ready for the next demonstration or to give some cuddles

Connection - Trainer

Quimrahil is a Barb-Arabian gelding, bred at Haras Naturel du Plessis, born in 2004. Gabi Neurohr played with him through all the levels, passing Level 4 Online and Freestyle with him. He is also highly educated in Finesse. Due to back problems, he is now mainly professor for Online and Liberty. His speciality is to teach people a new level of mental connection, the power of the mind and truly being in the moment with a horse.

Focus - Trainer

Sirius is a Barb-Arab gelding, born in 2002. He is educated up to Parelli Level 4 and is a professor for all 4 Savvys and levels. Sirius is a left brain extroverted horse with a great sense of humour, not hesitating to offer his idea of a fun game. He will teach you to have clear focus, being playful and how to maintain lightness.

Lightness - Trainer

Sahel is a Barb-Arabian gelding, bred at Haras Naturel du Plessis, born in 2006. He is very sensitive left brain extroverted horse, well advanced to Parelli Level 3 / 4. He is a very light and attentive horse, nicely playful and very nice and safe to ride. Sahel is teaching only on special occasions.

HIDALGO

HIDALGO

Assertiveness - Trainer

In his younger years, Hidalgo used to be an Eventing Champion. He was born in 1996 and now he enjoys a fun retirement, teaching people about playfulness, focus and determination. Officially he is only Level 2 in Parelli, but he is more a horse for advanced students, as he likes to play like a horse and does a lot of jokes.

Confidence - Booster

Berti is our loyal Irish Cob gelding, born in 2002. Berty is a great horse for all levels and Savvys. He has completed Level 3 Online, Freestyle and Liberty. He is a mild right brain/left brain introvert with a very willing to please character. The fact that he always tries to understand what the student asked him to do, guarantees good results for the students and will boots their confidence.

SETH

SETH

Mood - Uplifter

Seth is a Barb-Arabian gelding, bred at Haras Naturel du Plessis, born in 2006. He is a teacher for Online and Liberty up to Level 3 and above. Seth can have two faces: One that is very playful and fun, and one that is rather shy but very willing and sensitive. This makes him a very nice horse to teach Level 1 and 2 to inexperienced people, but also a fun partner to teach Level 3 and 4 to advanced students.
